Privacy policy
Last updated 22 September 2026
PB is a workout tracker for Fruitarian Fitness. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can delete it. PB is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.
Who we are
PB is operated for Fruitarian Fitness members and invited users. The live service is hosted at pb-fitness-tedcarr.netlify.app. For privacy questions, use the support page.
Information we collect
- Account. Email address, password (handled by Netlify Identity), optional username, name, age, and gender.
- Leaderboard invites. Email addresses you invite, whether they joined, and leaderboard alerts between people who share a board.
- Workouts. Dates, exercises, weights, reps, distances, times, notes, body weight, and rest preferences you enter or import.
- Photos. Optional before, inspiration, and exercise pictures you upload. They stay private to your account.
- Challenges. Fully raw 24-hour challenge starts, completions, and cancellations.
- Technical. A sign-in cookie (
nf_jwt) so we can keep you logged in. Server logs may include IP address and request time for security.
How we use it
We use this information to run your workout log, personal bests, templates, rest timer, private leaderboards, and account recovery. We do not sell your data. We do not use your workouts to train public AI models.
Optional sharing
If you invite someone to your leaderboard and they accept, you both see each other’s username, display name, strength personal bests, and record dates. Username search is a separate option in Settings. Photos and workout notes stay private.
When email sending is connected, we email the address you typed with a join link, and we may email people on your board if someone passes a personal best. You can cancel a pending invite or remove someone in More → Leaderboard.
Optional AI import
If you use “AI reading” for pasted notes and confirm sending them, that text is sent to OpenAI so we can turn it into workout rows. Do not paste information you do not want OpenAI to process. File imports (FitNotes, CSV, notes) stay on our servers and are not sent to OpenAI.
Where it is stored
Accounts, workouts, and photos are stored by Netlify (Identity, Postgres, and private Blobs). Hosting is in the United States unless Netlify routes otherwise. Sign-in cookies are stored on your device.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and workout data until you delete your account. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.
Your choices
- Edit or delete individual workouts in History.
- Replace or remove photos in My goals. Change exercise pictures from the exercise menu or by tapping the picture.
- Turn off username search in Settings, or remove people from your leaderboard.
- Delete your whole account in More → Settings → Delete my account. That removes workouts, imports, photos, challenges, username, and profile, and then closes the sign-in account.
Children
PB is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account for anyone younger than 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above and post the new policy at this URL.
